
Every tarot reading ultimately starts with one question—“What next?” We decided this was the perfect way to launch Netflix’s first global brand campaign by the same name. Featuring Teyana Taylor as our tarot reader and her deck of cards as a talisman, we revealed the 2026 lineup with the help of a few familiar faces. And no, we can’t tell you where the Louvre's stolen jewels are.
Director Show Yanagisawa and his team of virtuosos achieved many visual effects practically using tilting and revolving stages. The cast features a trove of Netflix stars from the 2026 lineup including Teyana Taylor, Luke Thompson, Gordon Cormier, Inaki Godoy, Omar Sy, Lily Collins, Dante, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Oscar The Grouch, Nam Joo-Hyuk, Millie Bobby Brown, Theo James and Cillian Murphy.


Beyond film, we brought the campaign into the real world with 3D billboards in NYC and LA, a tear-away mural that let fans literally pull a tarot card off the wall, and a larger-than-life Tarot booth featuring Teyana Taylor at at Grand Central.

Extending the campaign to 34 markets around the globe, we sent influencers custom tarot card decks and created an interactive experience on Netflix's homepage (Tudum.com) where you can get your own digital Tarot reading. Answering a series of questions reveals three cards that tell a fortune of what you’re set to encounter this year, matched with a Netflix movie or series with a plot that reflects that path. Destiny, delivered via your watch list.





The efforts have already received 104 million owned social impressions across Netflix social channels; more than 1,000 dedicated press pieces across broadcast, print, and digital outlets; and the best-ever traffic day on Tudum.com with over 2.5 million visits.
